Why do I get an error stating "Username and password not found" when I know I've signed up?
An email is sent to you when you register for the St.Helens Council Online Services system. The email contains a link that you must click to activate your account. This is to prevent someone signing up in your name.
If you don't click this link then your account will remain unactivated. Please note that we cannot activate your account, you must do it yourself.
But I can't find the activation email!
Sometimes your email filter might be a bit strict. This means that the activation email has ended up in your junk email folder because it has been identified as spam. So try checking in your junk email folder first but if you still can't find it then let us know (please choose "Website error" from the drop-down list).
I've activated my account and received a password but I still get an error when I try to get in!
The password is randomly generated and must be typed in exactly. It might be easier for you to copy the password from the email and paste it into the password box. If this doesn't work then reset your password and try again.
No, nothing works, I can't get in and I don't care about spam, I just want to talk to someone about it!
