Recreational Services has a great opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with vision, flair and excellent leadership skills to work as Duty Manager in the Council’s Sports Facilities. You will be part of an inspired and successful team that has a proven track record in achieving high quality results and delivering an excellent service.

We are looking for an individual with first-hand experience of working in the Sports, Health and Fitness industry who enjoys working as part of a team and has excellent communication skills with a good understanding of service delivery.

Additional information: -

The post holder will provide support in relation to the management of our outdoor sports facilities and Sutton Leisure Centre, however you may be required to provide cover at any of our facilities. All sites operate a three week shift pattern which includes early mornings, evenings and weekend work.

We are looking for flexibility from candidates in terms of capacity to work additional hours up to 37 per week and to provide cover across sites to meet service needs. The post will be used as first point of call for Duty Manager cover for annual leave and sickness across the service.

Please note: The successful candidate must obtain the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) within the three months of start date to secure a permanent contract.
