A 37 hour Clerical Officer position has become available in the All Age Disability & Mental Health Team who are based within Forster House. The postholder will undertake the administration duties providing all of the clerical support required by the team.
The All Age Disability Team & Mental Health Team is a very busy team who are responsible for undertaking a number of pieces of Statutory Work that are the responsibility of the Local Authority under the Mental Health Act (Mental Health Act Assessments), Mental Capacity Act (DOLS/COP DOL 11 Assessments), and Safeguarding Legislation. Complex assessments and reviews under the Care Act for commissioned packages of care are also undertaken.
The successful post holder will need to be able to respond to differing demands and prioritise tasks in conjunction with the team members and mangers that they are supporting. There will be frequent telephone contact with service users, carers and other professionals, knowledge and experience in good customer care and working in a busy office environment is essential.
Training on the internal electronic systems used within the department will be provided.
