People’s Services are looking to appoint a Senior SEN Casework Manager in the Additional Needs Service.
You will be responsible for the implementation of the statutory requirements for the SEN Code of Practice and the Local Authority’s Enhanced SEN Support funding scheme. You will have excellent working knowledge of special educational needs and understand the role and responsibilities of the Local Authority and its relationship with schools. You will also understand the implications of the new legislation for meeting the needs of children with SEND. You will be responsible for the team of SEN Casework Managers.
You will be a member of the Additional Needs Service, which has an excellent reputation in St Helens. You will need to have exceptional communication and organisational skills and experience of managing staff.
