We are seeking an experienced individual with knowledge and understanding of GIS, particularly MapInfo, to join the team. The successful candidate will be part of the Corporate GIS Team with particular responsibility for maintaining and updating the Council's Local Land and Property Gazetteer & Street Gazetteer. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and ‘can do’ approach to work within this context.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate sound judgement, have a flexible approach to problem solving and be capable of dealing with a wide variety of situations working within a friendly, supported environment. They must have excellent communication skills, as well as being enthusiastic and committed.
The post may suit a qualified graduate.
