Recreational Services are looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals with excellent customer care skills to work in the Council's Sports Centres.

Ideally we are looking for individuals with first hand experience of working in the Leisure Industry, who enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills with a good understanding of service delivery. Hours will vary subject to service requirements at each site and the average shift length will be 7 hours in duration including early morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Duties will include swimming pool supervision for customers, general cleaning and housekeeping tasks, equipment set up plus summer activity programme support. Each of these tasks requires a high level of interaction and communication with customers.

We need a commitment to working flexibly to meet the needs of the service, to provide cover for colleagues and to attend training when required.

If you hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification Certificate and have the skills and experience to add value to our service then we would like to hear from you.
