Description...

Careline offers residents of St. Helen's a monitoring service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The officers are trained to assess which form of assistance users require, this could be calling Family/key holder, Emergency Services or alternatively dispatching an officer to the service users home to offer assistance.

In an emergency you may be required to respond to service users' personal care needs in a caring and sensitive manner, respecting their dignity and privacy and maintaining their right to be independent and make choices even if a degree of risk occurs.

The post will require you to monitor service users in sheltered housing accommodation in the absence of the resident/ visiting Scheme Manager by way of the control centre or by personal visit.

Staff work a three shift system on a ten week rolling rota, which includes weekends and Bank Holidays.

Applicants must also possess a full clean driving licence. If an applicant cannot drive as they are precluded by disability applications are still welcome. Applicants are asked to provide a statement as to how they will be in a position to alternatively meet the requirements to enable the duties to be carried out effectively and efficiently with reasonable adjustments.
