St Helens Libraries are looking for an experienced Librarian who can manage, develop and deliver an effective customer focused Library Service. Responsible for several libraries, you’ll play an active role in reader development and will build on our existing community engagement ethos. You’ll be responsible for the planning and implementation of event and literacy programmes for adults and children as well as working in partnership to maximise the impact of the service.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about libraries, books and reading and making a real difference to the community. You must have library experience and ideally come from a public library background, with excellent ICT skills. Hours of working include evenings and weekends.
