Key to this vision is Contact Cares; which aims to simplify the way we access health and social care services from nursing assessment to social care; reablement to audiology, safeguarding to occupational therapy.
Based at Nightingale House our Occupational Therapy Team are committed to supporting and assisting people with disabilities to improve their quality of life and be as independent as possible in their home environment. As part of the continued development of the Occupational Therapy Service we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and motivated individual as Team Manager. You will provide leadership support to the team and support the Service Manager in the development of the service.

You should have a good understanding of complex physical disabilities and experience in the provision of equipment and major adaptations. Knowledge of up to date moving and handling techniques and good IT skills would be an advantage.

You will be an experienced HCPC registered Occupational Therapist, confidently able to work on your own initiative, juggle a busy workload and build strong working relationships. You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to demonstrate credibility with professionals from partner agencies.
