Description...

Careline offers residents of St. Helens a monitoring service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The officers are trained to assess which form of assistance users require, this could be calling Family/key holder, Emergency Services or alternatively dispatching an officer to Service users home to offer assistance.

In an emergency respond to service users' personal care needs in a caring and sensitive manner, respecting their dignity and privacy. Maintain their right to be independent and make choices even if a degree of risk occurs.

Monitor Service users in sheltered housing accommodation in the absence of the resident/ visiting Scheme Manager by way of the control centre or by personal visit.

Staff work a three shift system on a ten week rolling rota, which includes weekends and Bank Holidays.

Previous experience in a Control room and or Care setting is required.

Applicants are asked to provide a statement as to how they will be in a position to alternatively meet the requirements to enable the duties to be carried out effectively and efficiently with reasonable adjustments.
