An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Handy Person to join the team within St Helens Council’s Home Improvement Agency.

Do you enjoy working with older or disabled people? Have you experience of carrying out small repairs projects within domestic properties?

The aim of the Handyperson service is to undertake small repairs /minor adaptations to help vulnerable people maintain independent living in their own homes.

The post holder will be required to carry out essential repairs such as fitting handrails, changing a tap washer, fitting key safes and locks and bolts and any minor household repairs.

The post holder will be required to visit people in their own homes.

A full driving licence is required and use of a Council vehicle will be provided.
