A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Licensing & Land Charges Officer based within the Regulatory Services Section with St Helens Council
The role is pivotal to the service, as it holds responsibility for the administration, compliance and enforcement, along with overseeing the budgets for the service and assisting the service manager with key projects.
The successful applicant will have previous experience in Licensing, regulatory services or a similar service area, from which your skills can be transferred. The post carries considerable responsibility and as such you will be expected to work independantly when implementing projects and associated work. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the post involves both verbal and face to face contact with our clients. Alongside this, a keen eye for detail and meticulous planning skills are crucial to this role.
Full training will be provided in the areas of Licensing & Land Charges, we also offer a casual car user mileage allowance, free parking and flexible working for the successful applicant.
