We are looking to recruit Young Advisors who are able to demonstrate that they can promote participation, youth voice and equality. You must be able to work as part of a team and be able to give us examples of your team work; this could be in a sports team, on a school council or other youth forum for young people or taken part in for example a Duke of Edinburgh (D of E).
You will work a minimum of 37 hours over a 12 month period, January to December.
Applicants must be aged 16 to 19, or up to 25 for those with additional needs, live in or go to School/ College in St Helens or be looked after by St Helens Local Authority.
You must be able to be flexible with working hours inclusive of work evenings and weekends as required and be confident in the use of public transport to travel around the Borough.
Successful applicants will need to be available for the Young Advisers training residential and attend team meetings.
