St Helens Council are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Clerical Officer based in the Housing Options and Advice Service.
You will be the first port of call for clients experiencing accommodation problems and you will be responsible for initially assessing their query and deciding on the most appropriate course of action. Duties will include dealing with clients face to face and answering the telephone to customer enquiries, booking appointments and providing clerical support to the Housing Options Team
We are looking for an excellent communicator who has the ability to deal sensitively with customer needs as well as the ability to handle difficult situations.
Experience of working within a housing related field would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to customer care and the ability to deliver a quality service.
