This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and self-motivated individual to develop and improve the economy of St.Helens Town Centre. Town centres are currently going through a radical period of change. St.Helens is no exception, and the new Town Centre Manager will need to embrace this change to support the development of a vibrant and prosperous Town Centre.
You will act as the focal point for the management of the Town Centre, delivering the Borough’s agreed vision and taking responsibility for the development, implementation and operation of key initiatives, as well as creating and coordinating the Strategic Events Programme.
With a proven track record in town centre management, you will have the skills to engage with large and small businesses and develop dynamic partnership working. You will be a creative and strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, and able to identify and respond to local needs and opportunities. You will also have demonstrable experience in events management and project management.
The role will encompass best practice Town Centre Manager delivery and will include the development and maintenance of strong working relationships with key partners and stakeholders in order to create a vibrant and viable Town Centre.
