We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative individual who is committed to improving outcomes for children and families to lead the Safeguarding Board. This key senior management role will focus on ensuring that services for children who are subject of child protection plans or who are 'looked after' are of the highest quality. The post holder will be expected to build on our good performance by contributing to effective partnership working, including supporting the work of the St Helen's Safeguarding Children Board.
The successful candidate will lead on the delivery of the quality assurance framework and will represent the Council on safeguarding matters locally, regionally and at a national level.
You must be a qualified social worker with senior management experience and a solid background in Safeguarding children.
