We are looking to recruit a permanent Team Manager to contribute to the leadership of the department’s Fostering Team. The successful application would manage a team that covers all aspects of the fostering role – recruitment, assessment, connected persons, placement finding, support, training and the supervision of foster carers.
You will be an experienced manager, who can bring extensive specialist knowledge combined with high level motivation and passion for fostering work. You will be actively involved in the ongoing process of service development.
Applicants will require a professional social work qualification, along with four years post qualification experience. Possess excellent communication skills, experience of supervising qualified staff and the ability to work positively for children within a multi-agency framework.
