The Principal and Governors of The Sutton Academy and the Headteacher and Governors at Eaves Primary School are seeking to appoint a temporary Learning Support Assistant to initially join the Eaves team for one term to support a child in Year 6 who presents with complex needs and Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and also to shadow the child’s Primary Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will then continue in post to support the child as they move into Year 7 at The Sutton Academy.

Excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of multi-agency working are essential. Experience of working with Secondary School Pupils with ASD is essential.

This post is temporary to support a child with subject to SEN and will cease when the support is no longer required or when the child leaves the school.

The post is subject to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
