The Governors of Sherdley Primary School wish to appoint a part-time Learning Support Assistant’s to work with children in KS1 or lower KS2. This is a temporary 2 term post, until 25th July 2019.
The candidate must have experience in a primary school setting (ideally two years) and possess the aptitude and desire to support the delivery of quality education.

The role will consist of:
· Supporting pupil learning in class, groups or one-to-one
· Provide structured programmes to pupils
· Preparing and maintaining teaching resources
· Assist in a high quality of provision of welfare for all pupils

Personal Qualities:
The applicant should be experienced, hard-working, enthusiastic, adaptable, able to work on own initiative and be part of a team. The successful candidate should have high expectations of themselves and our children. You must be a caring, responsible person who works well in a team. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of the delivery of intervention programmes within KS1 & 2, and experience of KS1 SATs.

This post is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
