Required for September 2019:
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a Senior Learning Assistant - Outreach to join our happy and successful team.
The post is temporary subject to pupil funding and will cease in line with this.
The successful candidate will have the pleasure of supporting a specific pupil with complex medical and learning needs. This post will be across school and home environments.
Experience of working with children with SEND would be an advantage. Training and supported will be provided by relevant agencies.
Lansbury Bridge School & Sports College is a generic special school which caters for 222 children and young people, aged 3-16. All of our pupils have complex needs and have a current Statement or EHCP in place. The majority of pupils have profound, severe or moderate learning difficulties while over 50% also have a diagnosis of ASD. A number have additional sensory, physical and medical difficulties.
The post is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Section Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
