The Governors of this ‘good’ [Ofsted 2013] Community School seek to appoint an excellent class teacher
required for september to lead and manage our committed, hard-working and successful Early Years Team and to teach our lovely class of Reception children.

You need to be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to work well in a team as a leader and
manager and have the ability and desire to make a positive contribution to school improvement.
Experience of teaching in Early Years is essential.

We are looking for an EYFS lead who:
- is an outstanding practitioner with the ability to model exemplary practice with a commitment to outdoor
learning
- has excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills
- has the ability to lead, challenge, motivate and inspire others
- can lead innovation and originality in creating high quality learning opportunities
- has experience in Early Years
- has high expectations of children’s learning
- will liaise closely with Year 1and with Nursery and our Two year old provision
- can monitor and report on standards in order to drive continuous improvement
- will work effectively with parents, establishing strong relationships to provide the best support for our
children
- is able to use data effectively to raise standards, resulting in genuine impact across all areas of
learning.

As part of the selection process, short listed candidates will be invited to school to deliver and evaluate a lesson: a further short listing will then take place.
