The Governors of this ‘good’ [Ofsted 2013] Community School seek to appoint an excellent teacher who can inspire and motivate all children. You need to be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to work well in a team and have the ability and desire to make a positive contribution to school improvement.

You need to be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can demonstrate that you:

· have experience of teaching in a primary school
· are able to plan creatively and effectively to meet the needs of all children in the class including the more able
· Possess a strong and secure subject knowledge,
· Are self reflective and able to improve your own practice and outcomes for children
· have the ability to make a positive contribution to school improvement.
· work well as part of a team
· are able to manage your time effectively

As part of the selection process, short listed candidates will be invited to school to deliver and evaluate a lesson: a further short listing will then take place.
