The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and caring learning assistant to provide support within a Foundation Stage class working to support a pupil in achieving their full potential.

The successful candidate will fully support the school’s Christian ethos and be committed to building pupils’ self-esteem, self-discipline and love of learning to underpin their progress in the basic skills.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of speech and language development and they will have significant experience in working with children with a variety of needs.

NVQ Level 2 Qualification or above is desirable and experience of working in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 as a learning assistant supporting learners with additional needs.

This post is temporary to support a child with SEN and will cease when the child leaves the school or support is no longer required.

This post is subject to satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
