The Governors of this popular school are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and suitably experienced School Games Assistants on temporary two year contracts, attached to funding. The purpose of the role is to support in the delivery of School Games programme for primary, secondary and special schools across St Helens. The service delivers competitions across the borough and encourages participation in sport and physical activity.
These posts are temporary until 31st August 2020 due to external funding.
The successful candidates will be required to demonstrate a good understanding of school sport and of the organisation and delivery of school sport events. A flexible approach to duties and working hours will be required.

The posts will be based primarily within the Sports Development team at St Helens Council.
The post is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate being received.
