The Governors of this highly successful school are seeking to appoint a full time permanent Lead Practitioner of English from September 2015.

This is an exciting career opportunity for an exceptional candidate able to support Teaching and Learning within English to impact positively on attainment outcomes and contribute to the further development of our English Department at Haydock High School. In addition, the successful candidate will work under the direction of our Senior Assistant Headteacher (Teaching and Assessment Development Programme) to enhance the quality of teaching and learning at Haydock and to deliver the Teaching Strand of the School Improvement Plan.

Applications are sought from candidates who are well qualified and able to teach to GCSE level and believe they are able to lead this department well and achieve success. All staff at Haydock High School must be able to demonstrate their ability to have a significant impact on the progress of their students.
