The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint two Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our happy and successful team as soon as possible.
Experience of working with children with SEN and ASD/behavioural difficulties would be essential.
Lansbury Bridge School & Sports College is a generic special school which caters for 222 children and young people, aged 3-16. All of our pupils have complex needs and have a current Statement or EHCP in place.
The majority of pupils have profound, severe or moderate learning difficulties while over 50% also have a diagnosis of ASD. A number have additional sensory, physical and medical difficulties.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
The post is subject to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
