Description...

We are looking for a caring, patient and motivated Learning Assistant to provide support to an individual KS2 child who has a diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of working with children that have social interaction and communication difficulties and will be expected to have good communication skills and empathy with children who have additional needs. You should be flexible, responsible and resourceful and capable of working sensitively to cater for the child’s needs alongside the class teacher and other key staff. This post is due to start on 2 November 2015, or as soon as possible after that date.

This post is linked to external funding and will cease if the child leaves the school or the funding stops.
