A Learning assistant Level 2 is required to support a child with learning difficulties in a KS2 class.

The post is specifically to support a child with special needs and will cease when the funding ceases or the child leaves the school.

The successful candidates will be expected to have good communication and organisational skills and be able to relate well to children. They will need to be able to make good use of initiative, be flexible, responsible and resourceful. Experience of working in a primary classroom setting is essential. Experience of working with children with additional needs would be an advantage.

Interview process will include a short observation in the form of a practical activity with a small group of children followed by interview.
