Required ASAP, two experienced Level 2 Learning Assistants to work with specific students with additional needs.

The successful candidates will be required to:

· Have good Numeracy/Literacy/Communication Skills
· Establish good working relationships with the pupils concerned, acting as role models
· Be aware of and respond appropriately to the pupil’s individual needs
· Provide one to one support within the classroom, enabling access to learning
· Be aware of and comply with school policies relating to child protection, health & safety,
confidentiality and data protection
· It would be desirable for the candidates to have an appropriate qualification – i.e. NVQ Level 2 for
Teaching Assistants

The posts are subject to external funding and will, therefore, be subject to review when the funding ceases or the student leaves the school.

These posts are subject to a satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
