The Governors of this happy and successful primary school are seeking to appoint a Learning Assistant at Level 2 + SEN allowance, to cover a secondment due to a period of maternity leave.

16.5 per week, term time only, includes a weekly staff meeting.

The post is for 16.5 hours per week, to support a child in Year 1 with additional needs. The post will cease when the seconded member of staff returns to her post, or if the funding ends or the child leaves the school. The successful candidate will be required to start as soon as possible.

Applicants will need to demonstrate experience of working within the primary age group, especially Key Stage 1 and preferably hold the Level 2 qualification as a minimum. Experience with supporting children with ASD would be an advantage. Applicants should have a willingness to undertake further training if required.
