The Head Teacher and Governors of this Outstanding Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint a Clerical Assistant to support the Office Manager, 12 hours per week (term time only).

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who will be a valuable team member, capable of showing initiative. The successful candidate will have excellent keyboard skills, effective communication skills and a pleasant manner. Experience of working in a busy office environment, utilising IT programmes and packages is essential as is support of the Catholic values and ethos of this Voluntary Aided School.

Knowledge of SIMS.net is advantageous.

Duties will include:

* Providing a welcoming reception at the front of school and dealing with all enquiries
* Carrying out and being responsible for the upkeep of manual records and the inputting of computerised
records and filing systems.
* Undertaking typing and word processing as required.
* Contacting parents/carers in relation to pupil absences.
* Recording, banking and accounting of all monies in relation to school meals, trips, after school activities etc.
* Any other duties which may be required by the Senior Leadership Team.

Confidentiality is very important for this post, together with excellent organisational skills and time management skills.

The hours of work will be Monday 9 am-12 pm, Wednesday 9 am-12 pm and Friday 9-4 pm.
