At Rainford Brook Lodge Primary School our staff constantly strive to ensure that the children in our care receive the very best learning experiences, are motivated, aspiring, independent and confident in their activities.

As we continue to move our school forward to further raise standards and provide the very best support for the children in our care, the Governors of Rainford Brook Lodge wish to appoint an Outstanding Class Teacher and School Leader to Year 1 for 1 January 2015, or earlier if possible.

The right candidate will need experience in the EYFS & Key Stage 1 age groups, and proficiency in the role of SENCO/Inclusion Manager. An interest in developing the use of the outdoor environment to promote learning would be a distinct advantage, e.g. Forest Schools, and candidates are asked to state their curriculum strengths and interests in their application. Applicants will also be required to provide evidence of recent outstanding teaching in their application.
