The governors of this friendly, caring school are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to work alongside the School Business Manager, Administrative Assistant and Clerical Officer.

You must be an enthusiastic person who is able to work as part of a team or on their own initiative.
You will have excellent communication skills and a pleasant manner.
You should have experience of working in a busy office environment, utilising IT programme and packages. You will be required to be flexible, undertaking a wide range of tasks and be able to communicate effectively with visitors, parents, staff and pupils.

Knowledge of SIMS and SIMS attendance is desirable but training will be given.

Main duties will include:
- Carrying out general office duties, including filing, photocopying.
- To undertake typing and word processing as required.
- Providing a welcoming reception at the front of school and to deal with all enquiries.
- Recording and banking trip monies.
- Using SIMS database to keep pupil records updated. Inputting attendance marks on SIMS making first
day response calls.

Confidentiality is very important for this post together with excellent organisational skills and time management skills.
