Required for September. The post is a temporary position specifically to cover maternity leave of up to 12 months or until the post holder returns to work whichever is the sooner.

The Governors of this successful and happy Catholic primary school are seeking an outstanding practitioner with successful experience in KS1, who teaches to the highest standards, is passionate about delivering excellent standards in both education and pupil wellbeing and who can inspire and motivate young children to achieve their exceptional best.

Successful candidates would be expected to be:
­ Excellent classroom practitioners with the highest expectations of themselves and pupils
­ Have experience, knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum framework
­ Be committed to raising the attainment and ensuring progression of all children including key
groups such as EAL, SEN and Pupil Premium.
­ Highly motivated and able to work well as part of a team
­ Contribute to the wider life of the school community, including after school clubs/activities
­ Supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school

Short listing will take place
The interview process will be divided into two phases:
Phase 1: Lesson Observations will take place week beginning 5/6/17
Successful candidates will be invited to progress to Phase 2.
Phase 2: Formal Interview. Interviews will take place Monday 12/6/17. As part of the interview process candidates will be asked to complete a short task.
