Thatto Heath Primary School is a large three form entry primary school. It is a happy and vibrant school with pupils who are positive about their learning. We are looking to recruit two committed and dedicated Learning Support Assistants, to work initially in Key Stage 2, to support pupils on their amazing learning journey at our school. It is essential that candidates can demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills in order to help raise pupil attainment.

The positions are as follows:

The duties will include the following:

· Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and establishing good working relationships.
· Supporting small groups of pupils with literacy and numeracy interventions
· Supporting teaching staff across the year groups in terms of administration and display work
including record keeping.
· Supervision of pupils and promotion of good behaviour
· Leading groups of pupils in specific sports, games and craft activities
· Establishing positive relationships with parents/carers
· Contributing to the ethos of the school and supporting extra curricular activities and events.

Post 2;

21 hours 15 Minutes to be worked from 8.55 a.m. until 1.10 p.m. Monday to Friday. This post is temporary subject to external funding and will cease when the funding is no longer available.
