The Governors of this happy, successful and outstanding primary school are seeking to appoint a Learning Assistant Level 2 + SEN allowance.

The post is for 15 hours per week – to support a child in Foundation Stage for whom funding has been secured. The post will cease should the funding end or the child leave the school. The working pattern will be 12.45 – 3.45 pm (3 hours per day), Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be engaged on a fixed term contract, ending on 23rd July 2014 and will be required to start as soon as possible.

Applicants will need to demonstrate experience of working within the primary age group and preferably hold the Level 2 qualification. Knowledge/experience of working with children with emotional, behavioural and physical difficulties would be advantageous, as would a willingness to undertake further training if required.
