Required from September 2016 a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within our MLD provision
This post is subject to SEN funding which will cease if the financial support is withdrawn.

You are invited to join a strong team of learning support assistants. The role will be based in our MLD provision with children and young people in need of additional support, including those with a variety of learning disabilities including Moderate Learning Difficulties.

The main responsibilities of the post will include providing classroom supervision in the absence of the teacher. Additionally this will involve supporting the delivery of literacy/numeracy programmes, utilising effectively all alternative learning opportunities to maximum progress of every individual. You will be required to undertake duties throughout the day including a lunchtime duty which involves supervising students and a morning duty before school.

The post is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
