Due to the forthcoming retirement of our current Headteacher, the Governors of St Peter’s C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational, forward-thinking and motivated leader who will lead and build upon the Christian ethos of the school, and continue to work closely with the church and wider community and support us in our ambition to remain an outstanding Christian school.

We are seeking a leader who:

· has the ability to set high standards and aspirational targets
· has drive, energy, passion and ambition
· will promote excellent and highly effective teaching practice throughout the school
· will provide supportive leadership; engage, motivate, challenge and work collaboratively with all our staff

· has robust monitoring and evaluation skills, enabling the formulation of well-focussed development plans
