The Head Teacher and Governors of Rainford Church of England Primary School are looking to appoint a Clerical Officer.

You must be an enthusiastic person who is able to work as part of a team or on their own initiative with excellent keyboarding skills to join our administrative support section within the School. You will have excellent communication skills and a pleasant manner. You should have experience of working in a busy office environment, utilising IT programmes and packages. You will be required to be flexible, undertaking a wide range of tasks and be able to communicate effectively with visitors, parents, staff and pupils. You will be prepared to support the Christian values and ethos of this Church of England Voluntary Controlled School.

Knowledge of SIMS.net is desirable but training will be given.

Duties will include;
* To carry out and be responsible for the upkeep of manual records and the inputting of computerised
records and filing systems.
* To undertake typing and word processing as required.
* To contact parents/carers in relation to pupil absences.
* Administer bookings, correspondence, monies and accounting in relation to the Extended Care
Schemes, Clubs and Raindrops Pre School and school dinners.
* Any other duties which may be required by the Senior Leadership Team.

Confidentiality is very important for this post, together with excellent organisational skills and time management skills.
