Required for September 2015, a play therapist to join our friendly, talented and caring team that supports our Broad Oak family in a lively and creative setting. This is initially a fixed term position for 12 months linked to pupil premium funding.

Broad Oak is a popular school that is growing all the time. We enjoy excellent relationships with our families and the local community. We have a team of committed, hardworking staff, well behaved, motivated and enthusiastic children and a supportive school community.

We see this post as a key role in removing the barriers to learning that some of our children face. The successful candidate will help us to nurture and promote the emotional well-being of all our children, providing play therapy, family support and other interventions on both a planned and critical response basis.

This role involves working closely with the head of safeguarding and related external partners.

· Establish effective relationships with staff, families and other agencies
