The Governors of Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint a Learning Assistant Level 2 to provide support for specific pupils who have additional educational needs together with a Midday Supervisor. It is hoped that the successful candidate would take up both posts.

The successful candidate will be patient, positive, caring and effective at working as part of a team with experience of working with primary age children. Knowledge/experience of working with children with social and communication difficulties would be an advantage.

Post 1: Learning Assistant Level 2 Plus SEN, term time only.
Post 2: Midday supervisor 3.5 hours per week

Learning Assistant: 13 hours per week term time only until July 2016 (all day Thursday and Friday plus Tuesday morning) reduced to 10 hours per week from September 2016 (all day Thursday and Friday).

Midday Supervisor: 3 hours per week (Tuesday and Friday)

An appropriate qualification i.e NVQ Level 2 for Supporting in Teaching & Learning would be desirable.
