The governors of Sutton Oak CE Primary School wish to appoint a Clerical Officer to work alongside the Administration Assistant in our successful school.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent levels of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, have an excellent telephone manner and organisational skills. Knowledge of SIMS and working in a school office is essential.

The person must be able to use their initiative and have excellent time management. They must be able to pay attention to detail and provide accurate reports through the use of the school’s data collection systems.
They must be able to support and facilitate the work of others, be flexible and adaptable, be able to work under pressure and be able to work to deadlines.

Duties will include, Reception and general office duties, cash handling and record keeping, particularly in relation to dinner money and school trips, under the supervision of the School Business Manager.

This post is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Section Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
