The governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and caring learning assistant to provide support within the Breakfast Club and After School Club.

The post is for 17.5 hours per week, term time only

The successful candidate will fully support the school’s Christian ethos and be committed to building pupils’ self-esteem, self-discipline and love of learning to underpin their progress in the basic skills.

NVQ Level 3 Qualification is desirable.

Breakfast Club
The club will run from 8.00am – 9.00am (5 hours per week). An LSA3 is required for supervision, to make toast and to set up the room for use by the children.

After School Club
The club will run from 3.00pm – 5.30pm (12½ hours per week). The duties will involve supervision, setting up rooms, managing policies and procedures of the school, a first aid qualification would be an advantage. They will be required to handle money. Training will be given for further first aid, food hygiene, further playworker qualification if needed).
