Required for as soon as possible until August 2017.

Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding teaching assistant to work in our school and at the Local Authority Pupil Referral Unit to support a Y6 child with complex needs. This post is temporary subject to funding and will cease in line with this.

We are looking for people who:

· Can work collaboratively with staff across 2 school settings.
· Can work collaboratively within the phase teams in planning, development, delivery
and evaluation of the effectiveness of the curriculum for the child.
· Can contribute to assessments of the child’s learning.
· Can adjust activities according to pupil learning styles and individual need.
· Can communicate effectively with all children, parents and other staff.
· Can develop positive relationships with all children and staff to assist the progress
and attainment of children.
· Have a positive approach to managing children’s behaviour.
· Are familiar with the new National Curriculum requirements.
