The Governors of Queen’s Park CE/URC Primary are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to lead assessment across the school.

We are a very hard working friendly primary school that sets high standards and expectations for staff and children. We are looking for a new leader to join our existing team. This is a contract for a fantastic teacher who has tons of energy, strong motivation and the commitment and drive to continue to raise standards for all learners. A proven track record of leadership is essential and the ability to also lead assessment is a core part of the post. There will be some initial training and support available from the existing assessment leader.

We seek a colleague who is always enthusiastic and positive, can demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and is able to have a significant impact on children’s progress and attainment. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of outstanding teaching. This person will also be expected to lead assessment across the school and another area to be agreed at interview. It is essential that you read and fully understand the expectations outlined in the job description.

Queen’s Park Governors, Staff and Children are looking for:
A leader with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to support and develop others
A teacher with a strong track record of outstanding classroom observations
A teacher who excels at classroom organisation and management (and is tidy......) A teacher who has the ability to maintain good relationships with all pupils and families regardless of their individual needs.

A colleague who will work hard but who is willing to have some fun amongst all the hard work
