As Lead Practitioner you will work with colleagues within the school and across the wider Early Years System to support the delivery of the highest standards of education focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for children.
The Lead Practitioner:
Collaborate with the Executive Headteacher, Head of school and Class Teacher to lead provision for 2,3 and 4 year old children, including an increasing cohort with SEND
Have a teaching commitment 0.4 equivalent to 2 days in class
The development and delivery of a highly effective and engaging curriculum
Ensuring assessment in the EYFS is accurate and informs provision
Liaising with external professionals
Co-ordinate and deliver CPD and school to school support programmes for Acorns Teaching School Alliance
We are looking for someone who:
Is an enthusiastic and experienced classroom teacher with the ability to raise achievement for all pupils from their starting points (EYFS baseline)
Is an experienced middle leader who is keen to develop their leadership skills further
Is able to work with a team and improve the quality of teaching in the school and in other settings across the Early Years System
Has experience and understanding of the work of Teaching School Alliances
