Summary of Decision:
To award the contract for the supply of PPE & Corporate Wear
Proposed Decision:
Recommend award contract for Lot 1 PPE & Lot 2 Corporate Wear to Wray Brothers for the period of three years with an option of extension for a further one year subject to satisfactory performance commencing 1st December 2019. Wirral Council were the lead authority supported by members of the LCR group
Summary of Reason for Decision:
OJEU Restricted Procedure, PQQ, Tender Bid and Sample Viewing Day were undertaken as part of the quality assessment. Clients from Wirral, Sefton & St Helens authorities participated in the quality evaluation of garments
Reason for Decision:
Following an OJEU compliant restricted tender process advertised on the Pro Actis portal, process start date 29/11/18, Fifteen PQQ submissions were returned, the evaluation process commenced on 13.1.19, members of the project panel scored the fifteen PQQ’s and following a moderation panel meeting, members of Wirral, St Helens, Sefton and Halton authorities produced the final scores, the top five scoring suppliers were to be invited to tender for Lot 1 PPE and Lot 2 Corporate Wear.
