To consult the public during September 2019 re Ofsted deregistration of children's centres and review the current service offer with the outcome to be reported to Cabinet with recommendations.
Proposed Decision:
To undertake a review of Children's Centre service delivery. This will include public consultation regarding deregistration with Ofsted and review the service offer.
Summary of Reason for Decision:
Public and stakeholder consultation is required re regulatory deregistration, and service offer.
Reason for Decision:
To ensure service delivery is compliant with the core offer as set out within Department for Education Guidance and that the offer is reflective of the needs of the community as well as the views of the public and key stakeholders.

To ensure the current offer fully reflects the needs of the community.
Measures to Redress Risk:
Consult the public about the current offer.

Department of work and pensions staff are an integral part of the Early Help offer and co-located within Children's Centres.
